Abstract
The article examines the history of Russian-Polish relations with XI to XXI century. The article emphasizes the fact that the Katyn events after the war continued to be extremely hot topic of Russian-Polish relations, and have an adverse impact on the conduct of foreign policy by public authorities of Poland in the post-Soviet times. The necessity of historical truth in the case of the Katyn massacre.
