THE RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH IN THE NORTH OF TOBOLSK IN THE PERIOD OF THE NEP

Abstract
The article shows that on the territory of the Tobolsk North in the 1920s Orthodoxy has maintained a strong position in the environment of both indigenous and Russian-speaking population. It is noted that only the administrative burden stemming in 1929, contributed to a significant reduction in the number of religious communities and the closure of parishes.
