NORMANIZM IN THE LIGHT OF FACSIMILE EDITION OF THE LAVRENTYEVSKAYA CHRONICLE IN ELECTRONIC FORMAT

Abstract
This article touches upon the issue of the text accuracy of the legend about inviting the Vikings to Novgorod which was written by the first chronicler. The author compares the electronic copy of the Chronicles from the publication of the Chronicles in book format to identify textual discrepancies in the analysis of the text. The idea of the proof of the article precedence about the first prince in Russia is on the 6 page, not on 7. The article considers the problem of normanizm demand in different periods of Russian history from the beginning of its "scientific" introduction into mass consciousness to the causes of its vitality in modern times.
