ON SOME PECULIARITIES OF THE ARCHIVE OF JOHN DILLINGER

Abstract
John Dillinger (1903 - 1934 y.) Famous American criminal and bank robber Depression-era (1929-1939 years), "The Public Enemy number one." Dillinger became a symbol of his time, and his destruction of one of the first major operations only recruit by the FBI. Over time, Dillinger became a folk hero glory of the United States, a kind of "Robin Hood of the Great Depression." This paper focuses on the initial stage of formation and its high profile case in the archival documents of the FBI. This article shall be the materials of the National Archives FBI.
