Abstract
The questions related to the internment of Turkish prisoners in settlements of Kursk province in 1877–1878, as well as their subsequent repatriation and naturalization. Particular attention is paid to problem of the struggle Russian authorities with disease among the Turks and the development of measures to reduce their mortality.
