THE IMAGE OF JOHN DILLINGER IN THEU.S. PRESS 1930′S

Abstract
John Dillinger (1903 - 1934 y.) Famous American criminal and bank robber Depression-era (1929-1939 years), "The Public Enemy number one." Dillinger became a symbol of his time, and his destruction of one of the first major operations only recruit by the FBI. Over time, Dillinger became a folk hero glory of the United States, a kind of "Robin Hood of the Great Depression." This paper focuses on the initial stage of the formation and transformation of its image in the U.S. press. This article shall be the materials of the central and local press and an archive of the FBI in the case of Dillinger.
