Abstract
In article preparation and celebration of the international holiday of "progressive youth", carried out in the world since 1915, in Russia - since 1917, in the Penza region - in Spassk and Penza is considered. The international youthful day was celebrated by mass demonstrations and youth meetings; to the USSR it was carried out as day of international solidarity and labor progress of youth in socialist construction.
