Abstract
The article is devoted to the social infrastructure of theVyatkaprovince in the beginning of the XIX-th century. It included educational and health protection institutions, systems of town-planning and accomplishment, as well as cultural and historical features of traditional way of life. The vivid pattern of local culture and communications, original cultural landscape of the Vyatka province determined specificity of its internal development and its role in the cultural life of Russia.
