Abstract
This article observes the problem of developing the Russian entrepreneurship and entrepreneur spirit at its very beginning and its influence on the economy of the country. It emphasizes critical characteristics of the Demidovs and the Stroganovs dynasties and their impact on the economy of Russian Empire.
