POCHINKI – THE STORY OF ONE VILLAGE

Abstract
Article is devoted to research of history of the small homeland, the village Pochinki of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The village is long since well-known for potash institutions or "week maidans", horse-breeding center where parted breed of horses – a barbansona, the St. Nicholas winter Cathedral, Church of Our Lady of Kazan and Vsesvyatsky cemeterial church. Once the village belonged to B. I. Morozov, the tutor of the juvenile tsar Alexey Mikhaylovich.
