Abstract
The author investigates the social portrait of the typical rural Vyatka co-operator in the beginning of the XX century. It is based on the interview of the participants of the provincial co-operative congresses in 1915. The following characteristics are revealed: social status, educational level, age, the role in cooperatives and others.
