Abstract
The article explores the question of the opening of the military and sports Committee in the city of Kurgan Tobolsk province in the years of the First world war. Military sports committees contributed to the development of pre-conscription training of young people, including students male educational institutions sixteen years of age. Due to difficulties associated with the organization of military-sports Committee, this body is not started.
